Pay directly from your mobile banking app

Andrew was UX Manager at Zapp, a new payments solution later rechristened Pay by Bank App. Pay by Bank App lives within the customer's existing bank app and requires no new passwords or logins for customers to remember, customers see their actual balance before paying and update instantly after payment.

Andrew designed E-Commerce, M-Commerce and Point of Sale payment prototypes. These prototypes, with Andrew applying branding appropriate to each bank, became an essential sales tool to onboard UK high street banks such as Barclays and HSBC.

Andrew was also responsible for the UX Guidelines document, specifications for Merchants, Banks and developers for the correct implementation of Pay by Bank App. Previously a paper document, Andrew redesigned, digitised, added search and navigation to what had been a static doc and created one source of truth.
